St George Institute of Learning (St George) is a well-established private institute specialising in English language and business education. It is registered and accredited by The New Zealand Qualifications Authority as a private education establishment.

We are located in downtown Auckland at 3-13 Shortland Street, a well known, high profile street off Queen Street, the main Auckland thoroughfare.

St George presently offers English language courses at all levels with either practical, academic or business applications. The school has on average, full capacity attending any one session. We specialise in academic English and encourage our students to take the IELTS examination. Each class has a maximum of 14 students and no more. Our teachers are all highly qualified and experienced. Essentially, we seek to ensure that all students have maximum opportunity to reach their academic and career goals.

Language courses:

• Age 18 or over;
• Secondary school graduation certificate (must be equivalent to year 12 in New Zealand);
• New Zealand student visa for study at St George Institute of Learning

Other Courses:

• Age 18 or over;
• Completion of Form 6 in New Zealand; or
• Secondary school Graduation Certificate from other countries;
• IELTS (International English Language Testing System) band score of 5.5 or higher; or
• A pass in English in the New Zealand Bursary examinations; or
• A TOEFL (Princeton Test of English as a Foreign Language) score of 550 and a TWE (Test of Written English) score of 4; or Passes in other recognised English proficiency tests subject to the Academic Registrar's discretion
